Grants

Apply for Funding

The HouseCheck Foundation offers grants to social service agencies and community nonprofits that meet specified criteria designed to expand protection and prevention services for those suffering from domestic abuse.

If you represent one of the above organizations and wish to apply for funding, we invite you to start the application process by completing the questions in the form below. Once your application is received, a member of the local chapter board will be happy to discuss whether your goals and objectives meet the initial criteria required to qualify as a potential grantee. If so, the local board member will provide you a formal document outlining requirements for submitting your proposal to the national board for approval.

If funds are granted, the local chapter will be responsible for overseeing that all monies are applied as proposed and that objectives were achieved effectively. The local board will report its findings to the national board. This process ensures that we are funding the right projects for the right reasons in order to promote sustainability.
